Passover celebration for new immigrants

April 16, 2017
For the new immigrants, we organized an introductory evening for Passover and Jewish tradition with worship songs, the Passover Seder, which includes the Passover Seder plate (matzah, egg, bitter herbs, charoset, celery, shank bone), and the explanation of its meaning.  The words from the prophet Isaiah of the return of Jewish people to their promised land were shared, which are being fulfilled today:

14 “Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when it shall no longer be said, ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’
15 but ‘As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their fathers.
(Jer., 16:14-16)

We are also awaiting the fulfillment of the words from the prophet Joel:
28 5 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
(Joel 2,28)
After the event, many were asking for prayer and invited Yeshua as Lord into their lives.
